For more than 35 years, Phoenix has helped schools and churches across Orange County maintain clean, organized, and mission-ready environments. Our Company

More Than a Vendor. A Partner in Your Mission

Today, Phoenix provides professional janitorial and facility support services built on consistency, reliability, and high standards. But what truly makes us different is simple: we do not see ourselves as your vendor. We see ourselves as your partner.

We understand that behind every campus, classroom, sanctuary, and gathering space is a greater purpose. Schools are shaping the next generation. Churches are strengthening families and communities. Our role is to help create environments that support that mission every single day.

The Phoenix Difference

Anyone can offer cleaning services. Few bring the mindset, systems, and care required to truly support organizations that matter.

At Phoenix, we believe the spaces people walk into shape how they feel, think, and engage. A clean classroom communicates care. A prepared worship center creates confidence. An organized campus builds trust.

That is why we approach every partnership with professionalism, responsiveness, and pride in the details. We help you protect your standards, elevate your environment, and stay focused on what matters most.
The Phoenix Difference

Founder's Story

Phoenix was founded by Jorge Norena, whose story reflects hard work, opportunity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Jorge immigrated from Colombia and began his career in the housekeeping department of the Registry Hotel in Dallas, Texas. His integrity, leadership potential, and relentless work ethic quickly stood out. The hotel owner recognized something special in Jorge and chose to invest in his future.

That investment sent Jorge to the University of Illinois, where he earned his CHHE (Certified Hospitality and Housekeeping Executive). While there, Jorge excelled academically and developed innovative ideas around team motivation, leadership, and operational excellence. His work made such an impression that portions of his thesis were incorporated into the CHHE curriculum, where his ideas continue to influence future leaders.

After graduation, Jorge was recruited to help launch luxury hotels across Texas and quickly became known as a trusted expert in hospitality operations. He was called on to help open, improve, and elevate some of the country’s most prestigious hotel brands.

His growing reputation eventually reached Disney CEO Michael Eisner, who needed world-class leadership for the launch of the Disney Pan Pacific Hotel in Anaheim, California. Though Disney was known for promoting from within, the stakes were too high to ignore proven excellence. Jorge joined the Disney team, completed the renowned Disney University program, and helped shape hospitality standards at one of the most iconic brands in the world.

Later, Jorge was approached again to assist with the launch of Euro Disney. But during that season, life was calling him in a new direction. He was building roots in Orange County, preparing to marry his future wife Patty, and sensing it was time to create something of his own.

So instead of boarding a plane for Europe, Jorge chose a different path.

That decision became Phoenix.
